Hornady's propellants are the cleanest burning and the diamond knurling means the bullet is lubed the entire length of the bearing surface. The knurling system holds an even distribution of lubricating wax over the bearing surface of the Cowboy bullet. The grease ring catches wax as the bullet travels through the barrel resulting in less leading.
